Service Description
The Foundation Story is a 2-Week Lodge & Learn built for dogs who are ready to learn the language of calm, cooperation, and connection. This two-week immersive Lodge & Learn program focuses on core manners and emotional regulation, the real groundwork for living peacefully with humans in a distracting world. Dogs in this program learn practical life skills such as leash manners, polite greetings, recall foundations, impulse control, and stationing behaviors/mat work. But the deeper focus is on helping each dog feel safe and confident enough to choose those behaviors. Using reinforcement-based methods, we teach them that listening, pausing, and focusing all have real-world payoffs, because dogs repeat what works for them. Each day includes personalized training sessions, decompression walks through the woods, structured play, and time to rest in a calm environment designed for learning. We shape responses through thoughtful repetition, engagement, and consistency, not pressure. By the end of The Foundation Story, your dog won’t just know more cues — they’ll understand how to navigate everyday life with balance, trust, and growing self-control. Best suited for: Adolescent or adult dogs needing to build foundational skills or manners. Includes: Initial consultation and custom training plan Daily training sessions and enrichment routines Focus on leash manners, impulse control, and handler engagement Photo/video progress updates Private go-home session with written follow-up plan
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing our online booking system. We value your business and appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy. * **Refunds:** * Once an appointment is booked and paid for, a 50% refund will be issued for cancellations (without a reschedule) made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. * No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time or for no-shows. * No refunds on treatment plan packages once sessions are started. * **Rescheduling:** * We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment. * Rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours prior to the appointment time will be accommodated based on availability. * Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment time may incur a rescheduling fee and/or forfeit of session/service. * **Late:** * If you are running late or will not be home when we arrive, please notify us via text as soon as possible. 724-213-2553 * We will do our best to accommodate you in this instance, but please note that your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled. * **Exceptions:** * We may consider exceptions to our cancellation policy in extenuating circumstances.
